Jason Slack is an Emmy-awarded Composer & Creative Director based in Los Angeles. Entirely self taught, he began writing electronic music at the age of 16. By 18 he was signed to the now defunct Gashed Records for his Industrial/IDM project NCC. 

He is fiercely passionate about the role music plays to support picture. Focused on building sonic worlds and atmospheres with deep emotional undertones, his work has been described as “storytelling music”. Instinctually knowing when to take a step back and when to push forward to help guide the viewers emotional journey. 

The Grauhaus studio is an ever evolving combination of modern & vintage synthesizers, drum machines, guitars & effects. We prefer to compose using real machines with real nuance, something software just cannot replicate.
